Dick Joyce Date: Tuesday, October 20, 2015
Time: 7:30 pm
Place: South Hadley Tower Theaters, South Hadley, MA
On May 9, 2015, the Amherst Railway Society sponsored a unique trip through the streets of Holyoke, Massachusetts, tracing 75 years of railroad history in the area. The tour was led by Dick Joyce, a Holyoke native and historical expert on the railroads of Holyoke. Plus, a film crew accompanied the tour capturing Dick’s narrative and the many significant sights along the way. The tour video has been edited into a 30-minute presentation that will be shown on October 20, 2015 at the Amherst Railway Society’s October monthly meeting.
