To The Top of New England

Ride the Cog Railroad to the top of Mt. Washington, the tallest peak in New
England. The Amherst Railway Society has reserved space for a trip on the steam powered Cog Railroad on Saturday, October 2, 2004.
Our chartered coach will depart from Warren, MA, at 7:30 AM. For the convenience of passengers in the Amherst/Northampton area we will make a
stop at the Sheldon Field Parkn Ride lot on Ferry Road at 8:15 AM. We then head north to the White Mountains, arriving at the base of the Cog Railroad at 12:15 PM.
The train departs from the Base Station at 1:00 PM for a 3 hour round trip
to the peak of Mt. Washington. We will arrive back at the Base Station at
4:00 PM. At 4:30 PM we will have a full course buffet dinner at the Peppersass
Restaurant. Our coach will depart at 5:30 PM for the return trip to Northampton and Warren.
Round trip fare is $99 per person. The fare includes round trip coach transportation, the Cog Railroad trip and the buffet dinner. An optional box lunch from the Peppersass Restaurant is available for $9. The trip runs rain or shine and tickets are non-refundable. All reservations must be received by September 25, 2004.
