Amherst Railway Society Appreciation Day
at the
Shelburne Falls Trolley Museum

In appreciation of Amherst Railway Society's long-term support, the Shelburne Falls Trolley Museum invites all Amherst Railway Society members to join us for Members Day at the museum on Saturday August 6, 2005. An ARS membership card gets you free admission and free trolley rides from 11am to 5pm. Additionally, ARS members can sign up for the Members Day lunch (menu to be announced at www.sftm.org later) for the members price of $9. Call 413-625-9443 to make reservations. On Members Day we will also have trackmobile- powered caboose rides, pump car rides, a presentation on "Virtual Railroading" by Al Barten (http://www.virtualrailroader.com) and a slide show.

The museum is also looking for volunteers to operate our trolley car, sell tickets, and do track work and building and rolling stock repairs. Please contact Sam Bartlett at 413-624-0192 or sam@sftm.org if you would like to help.

The Shelburne Falls Trolley Museum is 8 miles west of Greenfield on Guilford's Fitchburg line in Shelburne Falls, in the Buckland Freight Yard, just up the hill from the Bridge of Flowers, which was built to carry trolleys in 1908. See www.sftm.org for more details.
