Amherst Railway Society CALENDAR OF EVENTS
2007 - 2008
If you like to meet with others who share your
interest in railroading, please feel free to attend our monthly meetings
in Amherst Massachusetts. The calendar below has detailed information
on each upcoming meeting.
The Amherst Railway Society meets on the third Tuesday of the month at 8PM at the Amherst Middle School, Chestnut Street, Amherst, MA. Meetings are not held in July, August, December or February. Regular memberships are $15 per year. Full-time student memberships are free.
The Society runs a number of railroad excursions every year. All trips are by advance reservation.
The Amherst Railway Society Railroad Hobby Show at the Eastern States Exposition in West Springfield, MA, has become one of the biggest railroad shows in the country. The show covers over 4 acres of floor space in 4 buildings. All members receive one day's free admission to the show. Children under 16 are admitted free when accompanied by responsible parent
