Amherst, Massachusetts |
| The Amherst Railway Society holds monthly meetings featuring railroad speakers, slide shows and films; sponsors fan trips; and hosts the largest railroad hobby show in New England. Society events are open to all.
Regular monthly meetings are held in the auditorium at the Amherst Regional Middle School, Chestnut Street, Amherst, MA at 8:00 PM on the third Tuesday of the month. No meetings are held in December, February, July or August. See map for directions to the school. Members of the society receive a mailed notice describing the program for the upcoming meeting, as well as other events sponsored by the society. In addition, members have access to our video tape library and receive a 1 day pass for admission to the society's annual Railroad Hobby Show held each January at the Eastern States Exposition Fairgrounds in West Springfield, Massachusetts.
