Conway Scenic to Crawford Notch behind STEAM!
Amherst Railway Society is pleased to offer a Steam Train ride in the White Mountains
Saturday July 14, 2007
We will be joining Mass Bay Railroad Enthusiasts on their ‘Steam Through The Notch’, an excursion behind a restored 0-6-0 Steam engine over the former Boston and Maine Railroad from North Conway to Fabyans and return.
The train will depart North Conway at 10:00 AM and return at approximately 5:00 PM.
There will be photo stops and a souvenir book to remember the trip.
Our bus will depart at 5:30 AM from Hadley and 6:00 from Gill for North Conway.
The bus will meet the train at North Conway and will return to Hadley at approximately 9 PM.
We expect to make a dinner stop on the way home, individual settlement for dinner.
Bus loading points are: Hadley at the Hampshire Mall [East end of the mall, in front of Target; please park in the lot behind Target] and Kuzmeskis Bus co on Main Rd in Gill (turn off Route 2 at the light, go north 1/4 mile).
The cost is $99.00 for the train ($75.00 for children 12 and under) and $40.00 for the bus.
All train seats are coach, but a limited number of First Class seats are offered on an as-available basis for $124. An optional box lunch is available for $10.00, bring your own, or visit the train snack bar. All sales are final and tickets are non-refundable. Smoking and alcoholic beverages are not permitted.
